Bug Reports

Moviesandbox not working for you? This is the place to get help!
If you have a moment, take a look at the "Known Issues" page on the Moviesandbox wiki:

http://wiki.moviesandbox.net/index.php?title=Bugs

to see if your problem is related.
Also, if you could provide information about your system, graphics card and operating system, that would be very helpful too!
I will try my best to fix as much and as fast as I can.
Thanks,

Hi I have some issues using the software: The interface does not show?!?
The weird thing is that I can hover over the buttons on screen, but they don't show. And if I for instance select draw, I can't see my drawings.

to clarify here's an image

something about my system
- Windows 7 x64
- Intel Core 2 Duo P7450
- ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570
- 4 gigs ram

I have run the program in both admin mode and normal mode, but that did not change a thing.

I'd love to try the software, and I hope there is a fix for this.

greets

@Dahaka

I get problems like this often, Usually after a crash but sometimes for what seems like no reason. If I had to guess I would guess it was because of a crash as I close the application.

I can fix the problem by deleting the MovieSandbox folder and re-copying off my disk or extracting from a file.

Watch out where you save your files.

Is there a log file to hold onto that can help fix this problem?

Hey hey,

sorry for the late reply! There is, indeed, a logfile called logfile.txt. I know that sometimes there are problems loading a scene, but you should at least see the interface. So this is fairly situated in the weird.
One think you can check is your graphics drivers. Especially on ATI, early drivers have rather wonky OpenGL quirks.
I know it's tough sometimes to find newer drivers for notebooks.

Also, could you post your logfile contents here? There might be something wrong with the selection of the renderer that I can look into.

Sorry for the inconvenience!
